 .This day the Vinayaka Chaturthi or Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrate one of the best, big, and auspicious festival celebrated by all the Indian.To celebrate the Vinayaka Chaturthi oranesh birth anniversary, he is the elephant headed God it remove our all the obstacles for our success, success in love, success in offices, success in all walks of life.

He was a knowledge giver, wisdom giver and also the lord of fifth principle advaita which giving all auspiciousness. We are knowingly or unknowingly worshipping the lord ganesh daily in different ways. That entire period of festival bring thousands of people together to India and pray to there God and they are enjoying festival also, let Vinayaka Chaturthi be celebrated on **Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Ganesha, the elephantine god of the Hindus and their culture is invoked at the start of every enterprise, from the foundation of a business to the beginning of a marriage to setting off on a journey (hence the name ‘lord of beginnings’). He is identified with wisdom, prosperity and protection, all supposedly the most vital things any man or woman can have.

One recognises his vast bulbous trunk, his belly, his large round face with its kind little eyes – instantly. Any wall of your house, a page of your kitchen calendar, the front page of the newspaper, can and will have him on them. Ganesh Chaturthi is as much a cultural as it is a religious feature; almost synonymous with the big Hindu festival when people get together and pat each other on the back to try and rekindle what is good in the community, and give it a boost of optimism.

Even more importantly, the celebration goes on for 10 days both at home and as well as in a space outside the home that would be shared with the larger community. The idol resides in the home as well as in the temple, but most importantly the images of the deity would be installed outside – in the open air, in a pandal or stage set up in a public space. Thousands of devotees would gather in this space; covered with flowers, light and garlands, the image instils in the devotee a sense of tranquillity and piety;

the devotee offers its love to the idol with flowers, sweets and lights (the nourishment of gods is modaks – the sweetened, steamed dumplings, prepared with rice flour and stuffed full of grated coconut, and which are then wrapped in a ball of the rice flour batter gently and evenly with your fingers that curl inward towards the thumb to shape the ends in the semblances of a human torso;

the head molded into a small round ball atop the torso, the hole, where the steam escapes, the navel; a cherry subs for the eyes, and chickpea-flour fried into flakes for the hair). The devotee puts the flower, sweet or light in front of the image after reciting prayers in a mantra narrating the story of the deity. Many pandals offer discussions in the mantra and/or hymn describing the state of the society and inequalities in contemporary times with music, dance and processions a part of forms of popular culture.

‘Tantriks have so many problems. Problem is these days, you know: this Chaturthi is because of that.’ ‘He shows how you can go on top of obstacles. This is the beginning of the thing. Beginning of the gyan.’ Wherever you are in 2024, just before you enter Vinayaka Chaturthi, risk a puja, lean back a little, let go of your mortal husk, toss a slab of tablet into the desert and fill your bucket of milk with Indian milk.

The ritual won’t put you in the realm of the aesthetic thing, and neither will the pellet stunt – but, by my friend’s logic, knowing how not to do things is half the navigation battle. ‘Good year. Good year ahead.

 Embracing the Spirit of Vinayaka Chaturthi

Vinayaka Chaturthi indeed a festival, but much more than that it is also an expression of faith in good above evil, faith in the path of the wise, and in the ultimate triumph of truth over falsehood, goodness over evil. Vinayaka Chaturthi has special prayers addressed to the remover of impediments and obstacles, ie, to Lord Ganapati.

To walk in the footsteps of Vinayaka Chaturthi is, among other thing, to explore every dharma in a positive light, to assume goodwill towards others in every action of their lives, to look to the Almighty to guide one through the holes in the labyrinth – it is indeed to hold the world in a receptive mind. And whatever the form in which one celebrates this Ganesha festival, at home or in the public space, it has drawn fellow feeling, devotion and affection among us.

Perhaps this is also one reason why the festival is so long; ten days, in fact. If Ganesh has shown up unannounced, he will chat you up until such time as you finish what you are doing and sit down together for some good religious talk.

What do you want to do for a day, travel about to see an art exhibition or a cultural performance, all of which we have at home, anyway? For the devotees, this is a time for gatherings, joining in the festival spirit and asking Ganesha’s blessings for the coming year. His wisdom, his love and care, shine in this festival just as they do in the little prayer gatherings of which ever one of his home shrines may consist. With lovely prayers we ask him to take care that our enterprises enjoy success, that our households enjoy peace, and our neighbourhoods, prosperity.

Vinayaka Chaturthi comes to an end every year, in the same friendly interchange of bonhomie and wishes, with the partaking of prasadam at the visarjan of the Ganesha idols that had been installed in the houses for 10 days.

Friendly neighbours tease one another here, invoking namaskars and wishes, with: ‘Visarjan korumme re … tudu sarey baito.’ With this step, the Ganesha idols become ‘aparathva’, out of the shores of ‘dharma’, and are now ready to move, finally, to a water body, to the shores of their eternal residences.

And yet, even as the Ganesha idols quaff water, breath their final breath, as the Ganesha idols in water, and love among neighbours move away for the year, the form of Ganesha is carried in the heart of a devotee, the spirit of the deity Himself. He has taught us again that there is no way to move from one stage in life to another, but in a letting go and acceptance of the natural flow of change in the process.

It is also in a deep faith that once discarded, parts are bound to launch forward later on. Youthful, uninjured parts will be found to replace them. The metal being discarded in the destination of visarjan, the water body, is assured of a new life. Let Lord Ganesha hold our arms for another year. Next Vinayaka Chaturthi comes around. There are parameters around Ganesha’s body that are fixed.
